Edward L. Marsh- Executive Vice President – Edward graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1990 with a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering and went to work for Unocal Corporation in Van, Texas. In 1991, Edward was transferred to Lafayette, Louisiana, working as a reservoir engineer in the Gulf Coast Region. From 1991 to 1996, he worked with a team of geoscientists redeveloping producing onshore and offshore fields. In 1996, Edward joined Flores and Rucks (which became Ocean Energy) as a reservoir engineer where his duties included acquisitions, development and exploration both onshore and offshore Louisiana and Texas. In 2003, Edward left Ocean and worked with Extex until 2006, when he went to work with Petsec (Australian based public oil and gas exploration company) as a senior explorationist. During his tenure at Petsec, he helped negotiate a joint venture agreement with Focus Exploration, an offshore prospect generation company. Several successful shallow gas discoveries in Mobile Bay were made under this partnership. In July 2007, Edward returned to Extex and opened the company’s Lafayette office.
